What experience taught him

“AC not working”
isn’t the whole story.

A technician needs more than a problem label. The history, the homeowner’s priorities and the practical details all change how to prepare for the visit.

Understand before recommending
Use the known history. Ask about the symptoms that help clarify what is happening.
Help the homeowner decide
Explain the relevant choices and long-term value, without turning the conversation into a sales pitch.
Finish the handoff
Book the visit and carry the full story forward, including the request to knock while the baby sleeps.

Building the business meant developing the people doing the work.

From teaching a team to building a system

Good practices should
be easier to repeat.

Early training sessions took place in his living room. As the company grew, Cody emphasized clear career paths, technical and communication training, personal development and time outside work. Growing the business meant giving the team room to do good work.

Circuit takes that idea into the everyday workflow: follow the playbook, adapt to the homeowner’s answers, and automate the routine steps that keep work moving.

The lesson for Circuit: make good practices easier to repeat, so the team can spend more time doing work that needs their judgment.
